Science and Society picture library platform and website

The Science and Society Picture Library (SSPL) has been the Science Museum Group’s commercial image library sales platform since 2004. It now needs a platform and website upgrade.

• Our current operational requirements are
• 900 GB storage.
• 10 concurrent users.
• Ability to upload media and metadata.
• Report downloads to upload into Technology One (T1), SMG’s finance system. (Report templates at Appendix I – Specification)
• Clients register to create a user
• Guest privileges for new clients to search the website
• Photograph and illustration media
• Searchable content for clients
• Clients can create and manage their own lightboxes.
• Lightboxes are sharable.
• Rights managed commerce
