Elements from Envato

Envato is the parent company of resource favourites such as Theme Forest, Code Canyon and Photo Dune, where you can buy all manner of high quality digital assets at competitive prices.

They also over a subscription service, called Elements, which gives you access to a huge library of selected assets from across their websites, fully licensed and ready to use, all for a one-off monthly (or yearly) fee.

This is a service I’ve been using continuously since 2017, for all kinds of work. I’ve downloaded CMS templates for small website projects, photography for blog posts, icons and graphics for design work and even, most recently, background music for my Youtube videos.

Everything you download comes with a perpetual license for that specific usage. Want to use an asset again? You just need to add another license on their website and you’re good to go.

Licensing even extends to music on Youtube, where if you do receive a copyright warning, you can simply provide the license and it will be cleared for you in no time at all (this happened to me and it was sorted in a couple of hours).

And best of all, even if you discontinue your subscription, the licenses you already have remain valid. You can’t assign them to anything else, but all of your current work is remains protected.

If you’re a regular user of web templates, downloadable icons and graphics, stock photography or audio files, then you could save an absolute fortune.

Well worth a look.
